Will Mk2 cerbera pillar mouldings fit Mk1?

Hi guys,

I am hoping to venture into the world of TVR ownership very soon and have my heart set on a 4.5 Cerbera. Problem is, i really want the Mk2 as i like the pillar mouldings.

These are pretty rare cars to come across so i am wondering whether:

1) Is it possible to buy the Mk2 mouldings?

2) Will they fit a Mk1 as i am aware the cars have differing windscreens?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can just paint the 'carbon' ones. There is more to a mk2 than just the pillar mouldings, are the roof lines slightly different too?

Yes the roof lines are differant and the black band round the windscreen.

But it can be done, I've already looked into it

I have painted 'pillar's on No2 Cerbera instead of the carbon ones - already on the car when I bought it. Bit of a pain frankly - cos' they're wider and the windows have a habit of catching on the painted pillars and chipping the paint off.

Now hoping I understood your question correctly! Mk1 Mk2, means not much to me! The windscreens in the earlier cars are narrower though, so maybe this is all related?
