Touch up paint ?

take car to paint suppliers who will do a match.I normally get an aerosol can made up just incase

Bizarrly www.Amazon.co.uk (Auto Paint Direct) sorted me out Grigio Titanio for the Cerb (its a Ferrari Colour) and it was a perfect match, much better than the rubbish Halfrauds mixed up for me.

Rolex Blue comes from a BMW Colour - codes P422-9HN5B (ICI) or PPG020 (PPG)

Has anyone had a good result with these BMW touch up pens? The last time I tried one, it didn't go well. I ended up with a big blob of paint sitting proud of the stone chip. I practised on a bit of cardboard first, but just couldn't control the flow. It was a metallic colour if that makes any difference.

Try applying using a cocktail stick plus use some Langka blob eliminator a few days after (www.langka.com) for the perfect finish

I could do with some touch up paint (well, if I'm honest, what I really need if a front end respray but hey ho). I did buy some Yellow Sunset Pearl off an ebay seller, and the kit came with several different pots and all looked good, but when dried it wasn't quite right, so I want to make sure I get it right this time.

Then I need a nice person to come and do it for me as my last attempt was rather botched (Mrs Fubes tells me I don't have any patience...bloody cheek!)

Thanks, I had tried a cocktail stick, but the blob remover looks just what I need.

Its good but frustrating as it only works after the paint has hardened so you have to 'force' yourself to walk away aftering applying the touchup and leave it for a week or so before using blob eliminator.
