Can`t bleed the Clutch
Discussion
I have recently been having trouble getting gears, its been very notchy so i thought i would bleed the clutch.I fitted a new clutch 18 months ago so there is no problem with the clutch itself and the car has had a new slave cylinder and seals.
However the clutch will not bleed,i suspect the seals have gone in the master cylinder, what do others think?
(The clutch has been bled previously so the slave cylinder is fitted correctly)

Ha ha! Welcome to the wonderful world of clutch slaves!
If your's is a factory fitted/standard slave (the stainless type) I'd suggest there's every chance it's munched it's own seals. Mine failed so I replaced the seals only for it to fail again just 3 months later. I now have a raceproved unit fitted and so far all is good.

AM in (almost) the same situation. Did my Slave and Master 12,000 miles ago. (My seals had gone together with the return spring in the Master)
Recently, had sticky then impossible shifts. Bought a Master Seal Kit and refurbed it and still no gears (though lots of pressure under the pedal)
Have ordered the RP Slave in an attempt to rid myself of the problem.
Would be very interested to hear how yours turns out.
Will kepp you informed as well

When I ble mined last time, had to go through all sorts of rigmerole such as bleeding with the bleed cable inverted and then again with it vertically upwards. Took me ages (and loads of Oil) but that is probably because I am a useless Irk.

Hope you placed the slave holes back in the bellhousing with them at 12 and 6 o' clock - otherwise it won't bleed properly.

If you are going to fit a new slave & seals make sure there are no sharp edges on the grooves or edges of the slave cylinder components, also do not pinch the seals when fitting and make sure you use plenty of red race grease on the seals when assembling.Recently, had sticky then impossible shifts.
