Anybody used or know of where I can get some carpet dye?

A section of navy blue carpet in my Cerby has faded and I would like to re-dye it if its possible. Would be easier than ripping the section out and getting a new one made.

Cheers

Try doing a search on "dye" in all forums going back for all postings, I recently did this and came up with the following:-

Plastic Surgeon based in Exeter Tel 01392 206020
see posting from STEVIED

www.USAUTO.co.uk see posting from PAT101

I think these 2 members have used the above products

Cheers

Thanks. Was just what I am looking for. Will save ripping out sections of carpet!

I tried the spray but it faded again soon after.

Following a suggestion on here I used Kiwi shoe cream (dont laugh) & it worked a treat.

It comes in a glass jar, apply it with a piece of foam cut to a small square - & if you can, get the wife to do it while you watch the telly!! Worked for me.

How long did it take for the spray to fade? Was it quicker than the time it has been since you used the cream?
