Looking for a 4.5

Just sold one of my babies, so car fund now will be around 10k, but could add to that bringing it up to around 12k max. Been watching Cerb prices and it seems a 4.5 Cerb is possible in that price range??? Any thoughts guys ? Need one in my life

Yeah us 4.2 lads make our quoted BHP figures in standard trim. Unlike 80% of the other TVR models i have seen on rolling roads

with a budget of 12k even a good 4.2 will be difficult to find.

the prices of some might look low, but usually there is a good reason for that

Fair comment, so what do you consider to be an 'entry level' price for a 4.5 Cerb?

Looks like the 4.2 boys darent tempt fate... Myself included. Its true though, there's not a great deal in the real world between the two; let's face it, the things are so bloody quick, it almost doesnt matter.

I cannot comment on the whole 4.2 or 4.5 but i do know if someone could just show me one decent really well prepped 4.5 that could be taken straight on a road trip to South France [has to be a decent colour] I am ready to exchange for a third party! We are willing to travel as it cant be any further than the last one we bought in N Scotland.
There are serious buyers out there as myself and OP testify but there also seems to be a fair few money pits well worth avoiding, must admit i've had some interesting reading on the searches whilst educating myself on the cerbera!

Have we had any Cerbera bhp fights recently? It's just not the same in here these days haha. Mind you the stakes have been upped substantially with 4.5 cars knocking on 500hp with a bit of force fed air assistance. The only 4.2 (genuine 4.2) I've seen north of 400hp was in a griffith!

Ive had both, currently a 4.5 lw with 425 measured... My old 4.2 was all but just as quick.

That's right, they went to steel from cast iron in around 1998.
