Over fueling, starting issue
Discussion
I've had an issue with my 4.2 and could do with some assistance, the car has been overfueling and twice I've had to tow it to get it to start. I had a few issues which I thought I had sorted out which could have been contributing, I have fitted a new throttle cable (sticky), new ends on the throttle linkage and set up the air flow with a synchrometer, once balanced I set the throttle pot readings up to match at 18.4 at idle. A quick road test and all seemed ok, refitted the air boxes etc and drove 3 - 4 miles into town, wouldn't start up again though. Each time I check with lap top I have a lambda fault on bank 1 although they both seem to be scrolling up and down ok. Would this recorded fault have any bearing on my issue ?? cleared the fault again when I got home and car drives better for now!
