MOT day today, and every single appendage is either crossed or knotted! Hopefully I can report on a glowing pass, like a few other posters have over the last few weeks! Wish me luck.

Is it local or over at TVR ? But I'm sure it will pass fingers crossed.

Yeap! - had my 6k service and MOT done at the same time. Spent the first hour pacing around like an expectant father as the MOT was done waiting to see a 'failure' list as long as my arm - and of course it come back fine, not even an advisory. Then spent the rest of the day trying to take my mind off the service while expecting the phone the ring at any moment with the words 'your Speed6 needs a rebuid' Of course I was worrying about nothing!

It's in at Track Mick. There's been a few other things besides that have needed doing, so it's been there a couple of weeks now.

DOnt mind MOTs - they usually mean a few hundred quid at most.
I hate servicing time - thats when big costs can come into play.

Oh yes the walk of the expectant dad from test centre to kettle at TvR. I was only down the road today buying some products for the cows and was thinking about calling over. I need to book mine in for it's service which is overdue prior to this years MOT. I doubt I'll get away with the steering rack this year.....but you never know wink

I was thinking the same with all the rain reports and how we swam through the dales. I would have been there but for the fact I was working nights and was unable to make it a viable prospect. Out of frustration I could be found setting lap records on the M60 for two days prior. Bit of a bugger having a flat but I see all ended well with the local mafia pulling together. wink

Well the old girl still hasn't got as far as being tested yet. Problems with the diff mounting brackets during diff bush replacement have put things back a bit. Scott, was she sat on mismatched wheels did you notice, or are my new ones back on and fitted? smile

MiseryStreak, how did the Lotus get on?

Bloody Hell - UK MOTs are a piece of something warm and wet compared to the Nightmare that is the "Controle Technique" over here.

I have just had my marching orders to attend this month so, if I can get the Clutch back together, I will film it and then you will see what pain really is

Just collected mine yesterday from it's MOT. I had to replace a front bush and a rear drop link that was getting a bit worn, Thanks to Barry at TVR Ecosse.

Well I think that's that for my Cerb for the foreseeable future. Outriggers frown beyond gutted, especially after having diff bushes, exhaust done etc hoping for another few nice months before she goes away.

Gutted for you mate - it's always a bloody worry and then it smacks you one.

Chin up, get her sorted and that's a job off your list for years to come.

Terrible news Rob weeping.

Seen it for yourself or did you get "the call of shame" to relay the bad news? Both are a real choker.

I'd be inclined to say get em done as soon as time allows but it's obviously not my decision to make.

I'll try to lighten things by saying look on the bright side - at least justifying it to the other half is one less thing to worry about.

Sorry - not much use, I'll go now...

She was on spiders all round when i was there, We were looking at it to get an idea of my ride height that I wanted.

My outriggers are shot as well, well just the near side front where the heater matrix has been leaking on it for who knows how long will get round to it at some point.

Well guys, we got her through the MOT with some outrigger repairs. Everything else was just fine so I'm very relieved. Was reluctant to do the outriggers right now as the car is going to be SORNed in a couple of months anyway to concentrate on other commitments. At least now there's a little enjoyment to be had out of this heroic JP sports exhaust. What a noise... cloud9
