Hi, Would anyone have a good photo of the Oil, water and PAS pump assembly that they could upload for me to look at? I would like to see how the two flanges are joined between the PAS pump and the flange at the end of the shaft from the oil and water pump.

Cheers

Hi, Thanks for the photo, the part I need to see is the join between the two flanges where I have pointed to in your photo.

The finish is engine paint. There was a fair bit of corrosion so I decided to seal the surface to provide some protection.

This pic is the only one I can find which isn't much help.
The PAS pump has a triangular adapter on it with 3 pins that engage with the circular drive plate that slides onto the pump shaft and is grub screwed to secure it.

There should be 3 tube shaped rubber grommets in the holes in the circular plate that the drive pins on the PAS pump adapter fit into.

Thanks for the info that answers all my questions. I couldnt remember if the two flat surfaces had small spacers between them.

Don't assume that if the PS pump stops working it's terminal. There is a grub screw that secures part of the drive assembly, this can come loose and then the pump will no longer be turning. Probably the easiest cheapest fix possible.
