Finally got round to having a test drive in a Cerb a few weeks back. Now I am on the short side, but in my old Chimera I did not need the seat any where near all the way forward to get the throttle down - (still stupidly unadjustable accelerator pedal on these as well!). I put the seat all the way forward and could use brakes and clutch fine (well ok - but) they had another good inch of forward adjustment to go, but the accelerator could only be pushed about 2/3 of the way with out sliding down the seat - barking - looks like I will have to get an adjustable acc pedal made if and when I get one. But how do they expect people under 5 and a half foot to drive these things - the other half at least had a chance in the chimera.
It is the same as on all other TVR's (not he floor mounted Tuscan etc) - only the clutch and brake are adjustable - (what nutty thought that was a good idea?) - had just the accelerator done by leevn last time (after some pleading as I did not want the shinny drilled other two pedals - just wanted the same ajustable pad on the aceelerator!)
The 4.2 (02) spun up great but bugger all mid range compared to a 500 chim - don't get me wrong alot more topend - may have to try a 4.5 to fid some midrange. But I suppose it does have a wider power band - well just higher up and more of it when it kicks in - have to steer the gears more.

Hi Everyone,
First post on here, but I've been lurking for ages before I finally took the plunge and got my baby!
And want to say thanks to you all for some great advice that's on here!
Absolutely in lurve with the cerb, it's awesome!
I'm not the tallest person in the world either(5'8"), and the original owner was a bit on the large side, so when I test drove it I was having a similar problem not being able to put the clutch all the way in.
The guys at the dealership were able to move the pedals forward without the need to buy any kits or anything. Try asking them first or checking before buying any of the kits.
Now my only problem is how to wipe the stupid grin off my face
Phil
