So my Speed 6 is in for MOT and it has passed on everything apart from emissions...

Last prior to having the car MOT'd I took it for a service at TVR Power and Dom removed one of the cats as it had collapsed inside the pipe.

Car then passed MOT at the time no issue

Now I have been lazy and taken it to my local indy MOT place. Have called to say it is failing on emissions and that CO is particularly bad. Their equipment is indicating the cats.

I told them at least one has been removed and they are now saying it HAS to be put back?

Any thoughts on this? Am I right in thinking Cerberas (S6) are always a nightmare to get through emissions??

I could just take it to where it was mot'd last time?? Anyone know price on cats for Speed 6 if it come to this?

Cheers

Simon

Looking at the MOT history my S6 has never had an issue passing emissions. Think there is a place selling new Cats in the classifieds

There's been various changes to the MOT this year.

I know that it now states that any car that was originally fitted with cats must have them fitted for the MOT.
If either one is missing it's an automatic fail irrespective of emissions figures!
