Ordered a new cerbera 4.2 in March, after selling/giving away the last one in Dec '03 after 4 and a bit years of ownership.
Was supposed to get the new car last week but it didn't leave the factory 'cos of a 'quality control issue'.

So the dealer gave me a T350c for the weekend - whatever - to sum it up an onlooker said (in best norn iron accent) 'aww look at that wee car'!!

Couldn't fit the wife and kinds in to the thing but at least it was still a TVR and I managed to fit in 250miles in the last 24 hrs while they were asleep!
I can't sleep waiting for a cerbera again though. And while I'm concerned it'll be slower than my '97 4.2 at least it might me more reliable.

Quality control? Really? Damn, looks like the new owner is already introducing process changes....

Mmmm, perhaps it was just that they couldn't find a fault?

After 5 years in the cerbera fold I think the most important lessons I have learned is holding on to your sense of humour and the abilty to laugh at yourself (especially when waiting for a recovery truck!)
And if the badge is crooked? Well sure i'd be disappointed if it wasn't!

Spot on... just hope we dont break down in the middle of a busy street where theres no space to push the car over.... now thats the worst nightmare!

70ish on the M25 and throttle cable snapped...
around a roundabout and the gas ran out....
pulled onto a roundabout and the throttle pots played up, stalling me sideways to an incoming lorry...

been there wore the shirt and cap, scared me shitless, but now just ready for it... I wander if the fezza and lambo folds go throught the same... mmm....

Hmmmm indeed. I'm positive that it's happened to a few of them once or twice!

That's just not fair, you can't blame the factory for that one surely!

True, but if there was a 'low-fuel' beeper, it would help, I mean, it was on quarter a few minutes ago!
