Guys.... i had my new screen fitted to my Cerb about two years ago. The guy did as good a job as he could manage and finished the screen to body with sealant. Question being... is there a rubber strip which is 'glued' over the top? Especially around the top of the screen.

My previous Cerb didn't have one over the back window. I'm guessing not

Looking to get it wrapped / resprayed and need a covering for the edge ideally.

Can't work out if you mean front or rear? Rear screen just has the carbon trim at the bottom, and front just he carbon on the sides. Rest is just sealant smile

Thanks for the reply FUBAR... The front screen was the one I wondered about, this is because he fitted the screen and what was there before got binned. The rear on my previous Cerbera didn't have anything, neither does my one now but was also wondering whether it is meant to!

AFAIK, there is a trim which should fit to the edge of the glass before the windscreen is set in place. Sounds like he's backfilled.

Not sure I understand..
On the front I have trim at each side with rubber trim along top and bottom.
At the rear I have a trim section at the bottom and then a rubber that runs along both ends/sides and along the top.

Mine has a 1-2" wide hard carbon trim along the bottom of the rear windscreen, and a similar carbon trim down the sides of the front windscreen, running from the wing mirror to roofline.

Without peeling if off for a closer look, along the remaining edges of the screens are what appears a narrow rubber strip over the top of sealant/glue of somekind. This rubber strip is what often needs replacing as the fit is often not great & water seeps in creating the nasty white patches.
