Hi my oil light has just come on at end of journey back from exeter oil level is fine and changed my oil pressure relief spring 2 weeks ago gauge saying nearly 80 psi when cold wondering if there is anything obvious to look at engine sounds okay any ideas much appreciated

Mine was doing this!
The light is controlled by a switch under the rear coil pack. It is a very hot and vulnerable place and the switches fail!
Replacements are cheap! smile

I also have had this happen after a good run glad I'm not the only 1 was getting concerned

It is worth checking the connections first, the heat affects them also!

Does anyone know the best place to get the switch, have sent Tvr power an email but there is no option to order so not sure if they have them in stock. Anywhere else to try?

Changed mine sunday cured the problem the switch is a intermotor part you can order through motorfactors or on ebay part no 50600 hope that helps about ten pounds

Was not too bad a bit fidly you will need a 22mm deep socket

I got a replacement switch from Racing Green.... but that was a couple of years ago

Phone them - they will stick one in the post the same day usually.
