Do I need a re-map? Sports exhausts and decat

Simple question really... Do I need a remap if I have removed the cats and have put on some nice sports exhausts?

Taking out the cats and putting on nice sports exhaust will not affect the running of the engine much, some remaps will sort out the lumpy running of the engine at lower revs and and better power delivery through out the rev range and give you a few more bhp, no doubt there are threads on here from people who have had this done so hopefully they will let you know which ones are the best, when I get back from Le Mans thats the next thing I,am going to get done, plus I have just bought a Griff and that needs a little work so will get them both done for the Classic Le Man, son driving Griff there before anyone asks

Thanks Billy... I have asked the question as the search engine is down at the moment. Going over to see Olly today about that wrap in carbon fibre... The car is nearly done (with my Carpetrite carpet) Good luck with the new Griff...

Will have to see it when its done and the carpets, its you car and you can do what you like as I have been told but I don,t like some of your ideas but its up to you, hope you like the finish,

Thanks for wishing me good luck with the Griff don,t need that much doing to it and strangley enough the carpets look a bit rough so might change them so it will be interesting to see yours

I have both these mods with out a re map and it runs the same as it did. A re map is on the list to make the most of this upgrade
