T5 woes

Hello all

I need a new layshaft for my T5,it appears to be different to the one used in the Cosworth boxes.

Does anyone have one/know where I can get one from please?

Which shaft do you mean exactly? There isn't really a lay shaft as such. There are input, output and reverse shafts and a cluster gear shaft. I thought that they were all the same as the Cosworth ones.

All my rebuild parts came from the US from www.thegearbox.org who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable - and had parts and rebuild kits in stock unlike anyone I could find in the UK.

Even with shipping and tax it worked out cheaper to get parts from them than from Burton Power or the Gearbox Man.

Hi There - try www.pw-eng.com in Letchworth - they are Aston Martin and TVR gearbox specialists and may be able to help. They are the supplier that TVR Power used to get me the parts I wanted.....
