Just to show it doesnt require anything special, my Cerb just passed MoT again with a clean bill of health at my local garage. Preparation consisted of topping up the washer reservoir and taking it for an Italian tune up immediately before the test.

Fast idle test CO 0.023% , HC 38ppm, Lambda 1.016
Normal idle test CO 0.013%

The only dissapointment was the tatty piece of paper that you now get instead of a certificate.

Congrats. I was chuffed that mine passed a couple of weeks ago. The garage were very good ie let me drive it onto ramps and for me to operate the lights, indicators, wipers etc... I couldnt hear his instructions though!
I was anxious with the chassis inspection but he said mine was in exceptional condition (and his son has a griff and they MOT a lot of TVRs). Phew!

My garage let mine through even with NO HANDBRAKE (heh, TVR...), Headlight alignment too low (you can do that against the garage door... just raise them about an inch)... and off the chart emmissions... (pop in the exhaust of the courtesy Fiesta, that'll pass it!!)
I love my garage!! Of course all fixed now (Ahem!)

But after the MoT I found the handbrake had slackened off so I guess the adjuster has stripped, probably time for a jubilee clip around it until I can get it out.
