On sunday a new MR2 came up close behind me, as we joined a motorway (long slip road) he moved to the outer lane, clearly he wanted to see what the cerb can do, I happily obliged.

When I slowed down for the next junction, we exchanged a freindly wave.

Has anything left your cerbs ? From the lights, etc.

I'd imagine the 4 wheel drive scoobies to be good in the wet.

Being totally honest the closest i've ever come to being beaten (and it was close) was a MAXXED Evo V11...he was quick but after 3 figures I just kept going and he started tailing off. The best races have been with bikes really, they love a play!
Mine got beaten by a couple of gateposts and a tree last tho I mmust say! lol

Over the last three weeks i have out performed (and they were all up for it) a Porsche 911, a Tuscan, and a BMW M5 (which was bloody quick i will give him that).

So no - nothing as yet has beaten me

edited as i dare not admit to being beaten by a moth!

I was at Elvington RWYB and my very first race was against a Scooby. Being a noobie, I was still sitting at the lights when they went green and the Scoob was gone.

When I woke up, I set off and started to catch him. By the 1/4 mile, he was still half a car length ahead, so he won that race but if I only had a few hundred yards more

Now that I know how the traffic lights work, nothing else has beat me - Skylines, evo's, M3's, Scoobs

probably not. But then I wonder how many Skylines have come across any quick cerberas...

The non-standard Skylines were part of the reason Cerber450 NOSed the cerbera.

But isnt it fun on the smaller bikes when they look back as if to say 'what are you STILL doing there?'

Had some fun with a White Lamborghini Murcielago with Dubai plates last night.
Not sure if he was pushing it but beat him in a straight line from a set of lights......

No, the smaller bikes were always looking to the front thinking "where's he gone?"

Only a couple of bikes have got past me. As mentioned earlier, they love to play. I think the Cerb is one of a few cars out there that will give them a run for their money. Had lots of appreciation nods and waves.

I never try in the wet !!!

That leads me to my next question, I recently joined a motorway in the rain, a car spotted me & I could hear him boot it. (looked like a mitsubishi fto or similar) I gave chase & kept up with him, going around a bend the cerb felt a tad twitchy, as if it wanted to skip over a lane.

Road went straight, I caught up again & he started hassling another motorist, went within a foot of his rear, so I let him go.

Nobody's mentioned getting beat in the rain.

My Cerb skips and jumps on top of the surface water at 70mph so any quicker and I'll be off the road.
Gave a little too much in 3rd (in a straght line and wet) to keep with a scooby, only at 60mph and ended up taking two lanes, one for the front wheels and the other for the rear No harm done except the fact that the scooby was gone.
SO you can see, when I said earlier that I never try in the wet, I should have said, I never try "anymore" in the wet

Cars to watch out for are the big engined autos e.g Audi RS6. Massive power, and easy to drive. Noble M12s are pretty hard to keep up with.

Have to agree about the M5 - one of the finest cars ever made by all accounts.

The rally specials (I've owned a few including the mighty P1) are devastating up to about 100, after which they are heavily compromised in terms of drag, being shaped like egg cartons.

I did race a standard skyline (GTR Vspec I think) and beat him, but there was a tuned Skyline which was pulling faster times than me, only by 0.5 of a second, but I had him on top speed. He was 151ish and I was 156ish and still pulling, unforunately, ran out of runway. I never got to race him as his clutch went after his third run.

I think it's only fair to compare like for like - standard, non-tuned cars. If you start comparing tuned cars, then it's all about who can spend the most amount of money.

I have a P1 (post Cerb) and it wouldnt beat the cerb in a straight line except from 0 - 30. Anything after than no chance. BUT any form of bend, rain, bouncy road etc and the Cerb would be rubbish in comparison.
I am toying with getting rid of the P1 and maybe getting a 450 bhp 2.5 ltr Scooby 5 door (major Q car). Now that might be fun for a race with a cerb. OK it is tuned but it costs about half what it costs to get a RR conversion for a cerb (and isnt that tuning).
