Hello All,
Just a quick note to let you know about what has just happened to me...
Over the past couple of services on my "cherished" Cerbera, I've seen some truly rubbish work from over enthusiastic and under experienced mechanics. Failure to bleed the coolant system properly, clipping the washer plastic pipe so that is rests on the exhaust manifold and almost starts an engine fire, to downright lies about what work had been done or needed to be done including charging for work that was unnecessary or just didn’t happen.
So... I'm sick of taking my car to supposedly "specialist dealers" who basically do a p*ss poor job. If you want to know more about the garages in question I can email you the photos of the bodged/poor work and tell you who they are.
So... Imagine my surprise when I joined the TVR owners club and was invited down to an open day at another "specialist dealer" that I had not heard of before. My hopes were not high...!!
However, they made me feel welcome, I trusted them (I had to, they gave me a hotdog and a coke during the open day) and I decided to take my Cerbera to them for a "full" service and tappet adjustment.
They had a guy work on my car who had only ever know TVR's and Cerberas were his thing, they started work on the car, photo documenting the work on the tappet adjustments and emailing them to me, they invited me back down for a coffee and a chat so I could get hands on and see the work in progress for myself.
At this point I also mentioned a couple of niggles like the bottom edge of the scuttle panel being so close to the exhaust manifold that it suffers from heat damage etc, not really expecting anything to happen.
Again, imagine my surprise and absolute delight, when I had a call from them to tell me my car was ready. When I saw my car it was "spotless" and mechanically perfect in every possible way. the standard of work and attention to detail was incredible... right down to them listening to what I mentioned and even putting some heat shield on the bottom edge of the scuttle panel to protect it from damage (as they refurbished and re-sprayed the panel for me), and when they stamped the log book, they even placed a removable piece of paper on the opposite leaf in the book so that the ink from the stamp would not mark any other page.
The service and attention to detail was incredible... I'll take some pictures and post them so you can see what I mean for yourself... to drive the car now is a delight (more than ever), it feels tight and like new.
I'm stunned.... thank you... thank you... thank you... "Bespoke Performance" in Ware Hertfordshire.
Of course these are only my personal opinions based on the full service they have just performed on my car. I have never heard of them before this service and I have absolutely no connection or affiliation with them.
If you are thinking of having any work done, a service or buying another TVR, drop in for a coffee, what an incredible bunch of knowledgeable people... but perhaps you already knew.
I’m still is shock....

The photos only tell part of the story... i wish you could feel the difference in driving her.
I have just notice that it looks like they didn't charge me for a few of the niggles I mentioned, like the heat shield for the scuttle pannel and some other odds and ends that they took care of for me during the service... quite frankly I don't think they charged me enough.

I couldn't recommend those guys enough.
I used them throughout my ownership of the Griif and the T350. Never had a single issue. Extremely professional, equitable and honest and they know their stuff.
In my whole time of owning TVRs over nearly 20 years the only time I have ever had any issues has been when I took the cars to other 'specialists' in the South East.
If people are within driving distance then they are just wasting their own time and money if they don't use them.

Hello all,
Here is one of the photos documenting the tappet adjustment, when i was invited down to take a look for myself.
Tony just admiring the braided hose and heat shielding on the loom and wondering did the garage fit them and if so how much? Mine have seen better days and I think a freshen up is required. Here is one of the photos documenting the tappet adjustment, when i was invited down to take a look for myself.
