Evening all

Well after a couple of weeks Pistonheads with little interest, I decided to Put my S6 on EBay with no reserve.
99 car, 30k miles, TVR Power engine rebuild in 03, full history but with stone chipped front and not advisory on chassis condition.........

It made 8200!!

Can't believe how little! Was hoping for nearer 10!

Ho hum, hope it goes to a good home. One less car to tax and insure!

Drove a Merc CL 600 v12 twin turbo 2004 - amazing bit of kit for the money - over 100k new!

Look out for D3 RGH

Cheers

Gosh that really isn't much is it? Good saleable colour too. Maybe you've got to wait for that one person to come along who wants that car to get good money. Does sound as though someone's done well there.

Really nice looking car, and a well written description, I think you're right - someone got a bargain (by the way - why make the bidders identities private?)

Yes I was watching this car both times it was opn eabay and if I could have got to Northampton to see it I would have gone from there...but I didn't have the time! Is the chassis bad then?

I guess the price of chassis work and paint can add £5K to the cost of the car and at that price point you are getting into cars that wont need chassis work (for a while). If its just the outriggers then it could be bodged/fixed for less.
