Early 4.2 dipstick

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I have an early 4.2 with the dipstick at the back of the block hidden under everything else.

The top has snapped off of it. Does anyone have a spare they would like to part with? Failing that does anyone know where I can get one? A search suggested it may be a Rover V8 one but the one out of my Cerb has a curve to it and the Rover ones I have seen are straight. Can anyone shed any more light on this for me?

I had the same thing a few years ago and in the end got one from Andy at APM who happened to have a spare laying around.

You could try one of the breakers like douglas valley, or TVR power I would have thought there would be some about as some of the early engines with the dipstick at the back suffered with crank failure, mine did and destroyed the engine so now my dipstick is at the front
