Setting up suspension what should the ride height be?

Just had my Tvr mot'd all good on that front iv got avo shocks and springs. It's sat way way to low at the moment. Going to get alignment done on sat but need to get it sat at the right height first.
What should the height be from the front arch to the floor and from the back arch to the floor.
I would like it to look lower than stock but not too low to compromise performance.
Also any recomendations on the damper settings, I think my avos have about 20 clicks of adjustment just wondered how hard / soft I should have them set .

The book that came with my car said the ride height was 130mm

Chassis corner (outrigger) to floor.

Ride height starting point before setting up for a circuit is normally 1/3 bump.

This gives you 2/3 bump and 1/3 droop.

Damping is relative to spring rates.

Probably best to start in the middle.

More compression damping normally makes a car feel sharper.

Less compression damping normally gives you more grip, especially on a wet road.
