Locked myself out of the boot!

Help please guys. My stupidity knows no bounds; I have taken the badge off to refurb it, closed the boot and now it won't open again! The red button which activates the boot is working but it seems stuck on the latch. I've been fannying about with the secret entry method for the best part of an hour now and can't get the fking thing undone. By the way, the boot is "closed" but isn't actually fully closed and won't do so. I appreciate this is a sensitive subject, so any replies by PM would be appreciated.

There is a knack to the secret entry - first time I did it took over 30 mins, but once I figured it out I used this method for a few weeks when my door window box packed up. Got it down to under 5 seconds in the end.

Thanks to you both for your PMs. As it happens, five minutes after posting I managed it myself (sod's law). Some good has come of it, as I've managed to make the boot pop open far more enthusiastically than it did before with some messing about. Now to get in the garage and start on the badge. Thanks again.
