Airbox brackets

How come my car hasn't got airbox brackets? I can't see anywhere they would even fit !! Were they on all 4.2's

Only 4.5s had (or needed) air box brackets. On a 4.2 the airbox mounts directly onto the backing plate of the manifold casting.

I had these ones laser cut for my 4.5. I done the design on CAD.

ooh like those !!!!! how much were they ? and can you get some more ?

i sure can get some more, if there is an interest i can get a job lot made. as for price i paid about £40 for the pair but that would come down the more people want them. I polished mine but can get that done better than how i got them

are they stainless steel ? i would prob paint them / powder coat

yeah stainless. I can also get them powder coated should people want them like that. the powder coater is about 3 door down from the laser cutters
