The 330 is very nice to drive and as you say, as it is the sports it is quite nippy. The only problems I have had are the ashtray lid not shutting and a rattle in the drivers door both of which took 3 visits each to the local BMW dealer to sort out. In a TVR I would have accepted them but not in a BMW. Insurance is not bad. From memory It's a little bit more than the Griff but I have full no claims on the Griff and only 1 year on the BMW.

Its more practical in that in May when I was playing golf one day and then on to Selsey to go diving the next it just swallowed the clubs, trolley, big box of diving gear, a couple of bags and a pair of cylinders.

However, I have never been in the Griff and thought "I wish I was in the BMW" even with its air conditioning, sat nav, etc whereas numerous times sat in the BMW I would rather have been in the Griff.

Sounds like you got a good combo there. Do we get to see any pics of the 330? What colour is she?

I must admit I haven't taken any photos of the BMW. I shall do though and pop it on my profile.

I had an M3 a while back now, do miss the drive... quality oozes out of every corner in these top-end bimma's... the 330 is the discrete M3 in disguise... I've seen one thrashing a boxter on the A1 a while back... beautiful site, wish I had a videocamera in the car...

Thanks.

The great thing with TVRs is that I enjoy them whatever the weather. Because of that, to most peoples disbelief, the Griff is the main car and the BMW is the weekend car (but not this week)
