Had my entire system replaced by Carl yesterday at his place. 1st class service. I was slowly having more and more issues. 1st, I had to bypass starter circuit (fairly common). Then flashing LED dimmed and gave up. Next I could not operate imobiliser by the fob. Only time before it was going to let me down altogether.

New system much better. Additional features include boot release by fob, ability to turn interior sensors off when locked, alert tones to tell you your alarm has been triggered, longer time beteen unlocking and imobiliser kicking back in. Also I had a siren with isolator key fitted, which needed me to remove rear wheel when disconnecting battery. New system has no funny issues when battery disconnected providing alarm disarmed first. The only trade off was that there is no short press for imobiliser and long press for alarm. No big deal. My gave up working anyway.

One last plus. I dont know the figures, but it uses less power. Don't need to tell you how good that is. Cerb battery drain is legendary.

He's quoted me around £400 plus travel time for him coming here to fit it!

Not bad, certainly if it solves the problems! Plus the bonus of less of a batt drain!

He travels around the country! Give him a call and ask him - he's a very decent bloke.

And he replaced mine too - top job.

Cheers

Rob
