Over 50,000 TVR miles, on my second TVR and I've finally been 'spotted'

My life is now complete

And just incase anyone is thinking they can't use a Cerbera 4.5 as an everyday car, think again! I've done over 20K miles in mine in just over 16 months and have never had so much fun.

Probably never been spotted before cos you spend more time on the back of a lorry than on the road, probably...

Ouch! And from a fellow Cerbera owner

To set the record straigh, I can confirm that the Cerbera has never been on the back of a lorry in the 20K miles I have driven it - here's hoping the next 20K are as trouble free

Well, there we have it, if anyone wants proof that not all Cerbs spend most of their lives on the back of a lorry, we have one which has done 20K daily use, and never been on the back of a lorry.... touch wood and glassfibre, she wont be in the near future...

do you consider yourself as a bit of a thrasher, or just a regular driver, driving the cerb like an old goat?

I guess it depends on your definitions but it gets a regular spanking and does a combination of motorway and country road driving. That being said, I haven't taken it on the track yet so probably doesn't get the same level of abuse that others might.

Hopefully I'm not tempting fate, but it's running great at the moment - long may it continue!

Hi there,

To answer the questions, I live just south of Cambridge and regularly head through Baldock onto the A1M but not through Letchworth itself - I may well see you on your travels sometime!

I bought the car 2nd hand from Racing Green and still get it serviced there, can't recommend them enough - Martin in Servicing and John in Sales have always been really helpful and accommodating. I work about 20/30 mins from there so hence the reason why I get it done with them, the only complaint I have is the frequency given the high miles I do!!

DAS: Hope you get yours fixed and it's nothing major

Hope this keeps her happy for a while!

Give me a toot if u pass whitehorse street in Baldock I work opposite the pedestrian crossing!

I have seen a blue cerb posted a spotted a while ago thaught it was T plate though ... could have been wrong ... not that I spend work time gazing out of the window of course!

TTFN happy motoring ... DAS

Hope the service isn't too painful!

I go through Whitehorse Street regularly, although it's usually early morning or later in the evening so may be the reason we never spot each other! That being said, I have seen a Tuscan parked there occasionally near the crossing - did you used to own one?

Have fun
