Removing an AJP sump
Discussion
I am currently trying to remove the sump of a U/S 4.2 AJP I have removed all the associated bolts and it seems to want to come off apart from at the rear of the engine Fly wheels side???
I am I missing something? I have had a read through the AJP Manual and still can't find anything on the subject.
The engine is on the floor and i have it upside down so it does look like all the bolts and nuts are off.
Any advice would be great.

The Fly wheels is off but not the seal/Plate . I take it i need that plate off? I was eyeing that up but thought surly not......
That is a faff if you need to remove the fly wheel to get the sump off
Glad i am only stripping it for spares and not for real on my own car if it was leaking.
Thanks Plasticman

Scotty, can you let me know if there is anything you don't want from that (once you've got your spares) as I may have use for some of the bits if you want to sell any of the leftovers.
Drop Geo a PM Ridds. I have the full heads, Pumps, Sump, water rails, timing chain Clutch, And a few sensors . So there a good few bits left and Geo has Put a few of the bits in Classifieds.Edited by scotty_d on Wednesday 1st August 13:19
