Help!! It's got a mind of it's own!!!
Discussion
Im hoping someone can help!!!
I turned off the alarm this morning and tried to open my drivers door which was completly dead. I then tried to open the boot which was the same.
The passenger door opened as normal so i was able to get into the car and open the drivers door.
I started her up and that's when it went crazy!!
The main beam was on permanantly, the windscreen wipers wouldn't stop & the indicators flashed contiouously.....
After a min the wipers stopped but when i touched the throttle they started again!!!!!!!
Has anyone else had this sort of problem or have you any tips on what to check as im scratching my head at the moment!!!!
Thanks
Phil........

Sounds much like the following:

I'd guess at loose connection/dicky fuse, or all the rain from the last couple of days getting into the electrics.

JSG,
Had a good read of the topic and it seemed it must be a fuse or something in that region.
I checked the BIG FUSE which seemed ok and all the fuses in the fuse box were ok too but after a fiddle about i found a wire on the back of one of the 15 amp fuse holders was loose, repaired this and she was back to normal again!!!!!!!!!
Once again cheers for the help.....
