AJP starter motors

Have you checked the usual suspects? I.e Clever Trevor/ Racing Green, TVR Powers and the sorts?

There's some on eBay, also check the alternative parts list as I found some listed on motor sports sites. I always carry a spare solenoid. Only because I happen to have it spare. I didn't buy it on purpose for a spare. Was for a starte that was still under warranty so sent it back in the end

Probably a symptom rather than the underlying cause (voltage drop due to immobiliser/TVR wiring)

Hi

I had a similar problem and tried another starter still same problem. It turned out to be a voltage drop, caused by the imobiliser. Had the whole system replaced by Carl Baker and now the stater works OK!
So check the voltage at the starter etc!
