Next job on the list is the steering rack. After sitting on blocks since last year the clutch finally went in only to find the the fluid was all gone in the steering rack.Anyone know if they can be re-sealed?

I simply lifted the front axle and kept turning from Lock-to-Lock, with the engine running, whilst topping up the reservoir.

It still took about 40 miles on the road to get the last air out but she's fine now.

( Although a little bit worried why the system should be empty in the first place. You don't have a leak in the supply or return pipes do you ?)

Yes I have a leak. I found it while the front was up in the air and turning from lock to lock. The leak seems to be in the supply pipe.
