Spots & Indicators
Discussion
I purchased my 1999 4.5 early this year and it came with a TVR body shop speed 12 lamp conversion with the original,(I assume), amber front indicators removed.
I would like to fill the indicator orifices with either replacement clear lamp units or a suitable blanking lens, preferably avoiding the ridiculous TVR priced units.
So far alternative units, military (as has previously been suggested) or otherwise have not been forthcoming.
Talking to a TVR breaker today, I was informed that the later models have a smaller sized indicator orifice, is this true and is this relating to the change to clear (allegedly Tuscan) indicators?
In addition, he stated that Xenon Spots could be fitted from a company called Ring??? – but I have failed to locate said company to date. – Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

I'm guessing this is the "RING" company:

Not sure of their own homepage, etc.

Many thanks - my search has reached the same conclusion. Ring do produce universal after sale small circular spot and fog lamps but the smallest I have found are considerably bigger than the 80 mm indicator holes in the Cerbie. Whether they would fit with some filing and sawing remains to be seen. The idea of retro fitting either driving or Fog lamps is appealing especially as Ring seem to provide remote control switching units avoiding the need to fit a dash board switch and wire to it.
I hate losing a "find something on the Internet" challenge. So...
www.ring.ltd.uk
They do a 62mm and 82mm part:

I'd give 'em a call

You win hands down - once again many thanks for taking the time to help and provide me with this useful info. You’re obviously more adept at using your Search Engine than I am. Incidentally, the Cerbie on your profile looks very similar to mine even down to the red callipers - the obvious difference is that you had the elusive indicators!!!

Tsk... there was a time when the red calipers were unique.
The indicators were fitted by Team Proactive (now Team Central, I believe) as part of the headlight upgrade - they might be able to help if Ring can't.
