mil and (i) dash warnings
Discussion
I know you are all going to laugh but I can't get the binnacle off! I have removed the lower panel, removed the wing nuts, loosened the fasterners holding the other parts of the dash but the thread that goes from the binnacle through the dash is too long! When I lift the binnacle there is still 20-30mm left sticking through the lower dash so I can't remove it. Any suggestions?

The pinnacle bends slightly. I had problems too, just try to keep the threads from scratching the leather when it eventually pops out.its easier to get it off if you get the left hand thread out, and pivot it on the right then lift it all out, sometimes helps to lower the steering wheel on the adjuster.
As for the fuse, its a 0.5 amp pico fuse, RS and the like sell them, soldered to the PCB.
You have to remove the pcb from the dash to solder it, held on with two plastic nuts, and two multiplugs,
