Can you offer any tips where to buy the matt black sticky silicon sealent that seems to hold TVR's together from.

OH; Sika Flex available from most auto factors Partco for instance, BTW it ain't cheap £7 tube

Thanks Al, Cant get any Sika Flex, nobody uses it anymore, too expensive £11.99 a tube up here. I have been advised a polyurathane alternative at £3.95 a tube I will give it a go and get back to you.

Still available from most decent boat chandlers, in black or white, and also in toothpaste type tubes for smaller jobs.

I have used an alternative, Tigerseal, sticks to your fingers ( and everything else that you don`t want it to) just as well !!

Rob, your right, our local chandlers do sell it, price ranging from £10 up to £14. 50. they also sell an alternative called Boat life, similar price. One shop has boat life at a reduced price of £5 a tube as just gone out of date, they did say it will be ok for months!!

I got silkaflex here in Guernsey for around 7 quid a tube. If anyone wants it, let me know, i'll see if i can get a bulk discount, plus P&P, & i'll send it over.
