Short answer... No I've not - they wouldn't pay a penny towards the engine rebuild, and TVR Power gave up on trying to put the claim through on some electrical work on my dash pod, choosing to just foot the bill themselves, instead.

Long answer... mail me.

Anyone want to pick this conversation up offline and see if we can take it any further. Would be interested in knowing the details of individual cases.

I had them telling me that the dictionary definition of words was irrelevant, as their definition was "the industry standard"...

i am lookig at purchasing a private warranty for my 98 cerb and was looking at their Platinum cover for 3 years is this something that I should stay away from ?
Any recommendations for a private warranty or is it better to buy through a dealer ?

I see these advertise on P/Heads

I think warranty companies are all pretty much the same... None of them will want to pay out. Being persistent with chasing the claims up is the key to getting anywhere. Having said that, I'd like to know if anyone's had a payout from WW.

When I bought Cerb from a main dealer, they told me that they were so pi**ed off with WW that they had changed to a gang called Auto Protect - car is (allegedly) covered up to purchase price.

Haven't tested them yet (touches wood!) - happy to fwd details if of use to anyone.

Has anyone else heard/had experience of this lot?
