On my Second Set of Good year Eagle F1'S asymmetric 2's and they are first class, really predictable and great in the wet. I can't look past them as a road tyre and even for the odd track day they felt good.
What size Asy2s have you got Scotty? My fronts are the same as Mr Pant Sniffer by my tyre place couldnt get the 2s, only the 1s. Guessing your fronts might be 235s?Anyway, F1 Assyms here. Just swapped back to them as I ran Toyo 888s for 18 months for sprints and track days but they where a horrid road tyre. Obviously less grip now but so much nicer drive, and the rain doesn't fill me with quite as much dread (didn't have single panic attack returning from Spa on Monday afternoon in all that shocking rain)

Had them on my cerb, felt really good and wore well. As good as Goodyear F1's and Uniroyal rain sport I had before.
Thanks,i need some new rears, always used Toyos(T1S & T1R`s) but don`t like the new tread pattern on the new Toyos so thought i would try something else....may give the Falkens a go.DarrenRGD said:
anyone tried hankook's? i had RS-2's on my last trackcar and they grip and grip.
Do not even consider Hankook Ventus Plus, they start off on the edge of 'entertaining' but end up on the wrong side of lethal (not tried them on the Cerb but had a pair on the rear of my other car, for about a week). And bizzarely, in this month's evo, Harry M reckons that the old part worn Hankooks are better than the recently (hand) made Pirelli Super de Doopa whatsits.
My local place keeps trying to push Vredesteins' (or however its spelt) performance tyre. Have to admit, they were, price wise, VERY tempting a few weeks ago

My experience of them.....s
te!
Couldn't disagree more..
te!Used to daily the above turd on a set, for 2 years. Went to the Nurburgring with them. Where as other lesser powered E30's tyres were going off, the RS2's took the whole lap at good pace in their stride. Progressive, sticky. 'Good' in the wet, wore well and evenly, didn't tramline, only time they were s
te is in the snow.Truely disappointed they are discontinued and RS3 is not going to be sold in the EU.
