Hi All,

With the recent thread activity about engine bay fires I'm getting all jittery about mine and want to replace them. I've looked through the usual suspects websites but can't see any readly available kits.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any idea how much (approximatley) they are?

Regards,
Olly

No one makes hose kits as far as I'm aware.

They also vary depending on year. Some have hard pipes inside the cabin and some have hose in the tunnel.

Best bet is check under the header tank for the steel pipes. If they are there then whizz all the rubber off and take to Pirtek or Hyphose. Ensure they have Nitrile lined fuel hose. Take the old hoses and ask them to reuse your fittings.

From memory on my 4.5

2 hoses at back, pump to filter and filter to metal pipe. There's one from tank to pump but it is under suction. There should be a return to the tank also somewhere.

3 in engine bay, metal pipe to rail regulator, rail to cooler, and cooler to metal return pipe.

For the bare hose connections replace the Jubilee clips with Unix clips

Give TVR Power a call - they stock them all.

My local hose supplier recommended standard fuel hose, which I have now fitted. However I need some heat resistant lagging to protect the pipes from the engine and manifold heat

I got mine from Earls performance on the Silverstone circuit, if you go there with yours they can do them while you wait.
Though think I had an adapter to link to the fuel rail.

Yeah I just had a look at the invoice, £89.65 after VAT.
The invoice no. Is 10167408 and the document no. Is 113883. That should allow them to pull it up.
Edit to add, they do a clear shrink wrap to cover the braided hose (which mine were) get this its easy to apply and will stop the braided line chaffing any wiring, particularly the injector loom which it runs close to. If you go braided that is, they do a very nice lightweight fuel line with fabric cover if your looking to save weight.

Very well thanks,
Just a quick one, I know the four way plastic connector can be hard to find, so here is a new supplier of such stuff
http://www.trecarn.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?ord...
There postage is expensive, so maybe a group buy, if you are replacing the hoses then it makes sense to replace this bit as well.

Plenty of 4 way connectors on fleabay. Just search for 4 way 6mm. Choice of plastic or brass.
