Just looking for a little help, having a clear out of the shed and came across a pair of Gaz Golds I purchased for my Cerb a while ago which is now sold and unfortunately not to be replaced any time soon.

I purchased them from TVR MADS without questioning whether they were front or rear or if I did I cannot recall (It was recommended I needed fronts at the time another garage opposed this advice hence not fitting them), apparently they had only been on the car for 500 miles, the Cerb they came off of was being exported to Germany and the new owner exchanged them for originals.

I literally paid for them, recieved them, opened the box, pulled back the bubble wrap and thats it they have sat in the box since, can someone advise on how to identify whether they are front or rear please?

Many thanks Craig...

Different overall lengths I think.

My rears are 10", fronts are 8". Although that may be specific to the Protechs.

Ignore the spring thing, Std and Protechs only by the looks of it.

I'd use the bumpstop method. smile
