Hi Guys,

Still having problems with electrics, this time the fuel pump won't prime even though the relay is switching over after de-activating the immobiliser.

The pump is new and works fine off of a direct feed.

There is an earthing point in the boot behind one of the control boxes which has all the immobiliser earths connected to it. Does anyone know where this goes to? I pulled back the carpet and can see a strip of metal that terminates in the middle of the boot?

I feel that all my problems are down to the immobiliser and am tempted to bypass it for a while to see if that resolves the issues.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Regards

Duncan

The earthing point in the boot is welded to the internal cage which is then earthed back to the battery via the front earths. Bypassing the immobiliser sounds like a plan if everything else has been checked. I would definately make sure the battery is fully charged though rather than using a jump pack.

Thanks for the reply, Battery is always fully charged and I never use jump packs.

Could it just not be a great earth anymore due to chassis welds etc?
