A new Camera Angle and Some Good Racing From Oulton Park
Discussion
It was a very interesting weekend..... 40 minutes before qualifying our power steering system caught fire!! We managed to get the pump out, fix and re-wire it with 10 minutes left of Qualifying still to go. Rather than have an accident we decided to just complete the three laps needed to be allowed to race.
I decided that I didn't want to cause an accident at the start if the power steering failed so chose to start from the pit lane at the back of the field. I took it easy for the first lap and once the car felt safe started to push on. We took the lead as we crossed the line to start the last lap!! It was a really enjoyable race and felt great to win from the pit lane!! Race two was quite uneventfull winning from pole position.
I remember people telling us 6 years ago that you could never build a Cerbera quick enough to compete with a Tuscan race car! How things have changed!!
Here is the on board video with our new camera position on the front splitter!!! Quite surprised the camera is still in one piece!

An up to date picture.

On Saturday the 27th of October were doing the Birkett 6 hour relay race with three other TVR's at Silverstone. Should be fun!

The car looks great, can't wait to watch the vid tomorrow
Mike, I've always wondered how much of your success is the car and how much is your driving talent?
Watching your previous vids, you car so much speed through the corners!
Have you had a go in a competitors car? I'm particularly interested if you've ever driven a GT3 or 360 challenge to compare them?
Loving your work

I'm not worthy. Wow that was very entertaining. Loved to watch you setting yourself up with the orange Tuscan to try the undercut 2 or 3 times. You reeled them in line an m3 v's a mini cooper. Fab stuff. Engine Tvr power / Apm, brake pads brummie.. Who else played a part...!? Aero? Suspension?
Loved the LS £150k cerb playing mid field :-(

Thanks for the compliments guys! It was certainly a good race!
The CL brake pads from Brummie were superb. Really aggressive, great from cold and became even better with heat! They even don't seem to squeal like our old pads!
Gazzab your right! Lots of support from people that most of us know on here. The best engine I've ever driven from TVR Power/APM, great suspension set up from APM, superb brakes from Brummie, all the aero and body mods by Plasticman, brilliant mapping of the engine by TVR Power, cool website/Facebook page by Touching Cloth and most importantly massive amounts of support from all of the above not forgetting all you guys who get down to the tracks and Cheer us on (really does help) too many individuals to mention but special thanks to Fubar for the sponsorship and Amazon for the cakes!!!
Cheers

Hi all,
Here is the start of racc two. We tried mounting the camera on the edge of the rear wing. Quite a cool angle but i dont like it as much as the splitter view.

Did the other cars actually have engines in them??,as they were being dispatched at such a rate.
