God its a countdown to Saturday after that its no Cerb driving for me, I am going to be so bloody bored!!

Have to have a shoulder & spine op, was just the shoulder but now it works out more "cost effective" to have both done together.

I suppose at least winter is upon us so will be back in the saddle next spring/summer ...rolleyes

Hope the op all goes well for you, and come next summer I'm sure you will be back to tearing up the tarmac biggrin

If it's any consolation, I've not driven my Cerb for 8 months and it looks like another 4 months before I will drive her again. I look on the bright side though, Winter is upon us, the average mileage will be zero for the last 12 months come March and it will be like driving a new car eventually.

Regards
Simon

Thankyou all for your encouragement.

Just a bit of a moaning moment on my part.I even been thinking that if it does not go as expected I may have to get an Auto, wont like that!

I get a headache if I stay in bed past 9:30 so not looking forward to the "Downtime" Lol.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts.

Goodluck. I've no idea what you're going through - I've never been ill, let alone seen a doctor - I really hope I never find out.

Look forward to meeting you at Chatsworth or Spa or the Ring or wherever...

Very best wishes for a successful Op and a speedy and full recovery. thumbup

If you take the driver's seat out and take it with you to the hospital you could get them to 'set' your back to the appropriate profile getmecoat

Thanks guys for the encouragement.
I have managed to drive the a lot sooner than expected & double whammy today it sailed through the Mot!!

One advisory on the parking brake effectiveness, the emission were a bit high after a run around tried again & just scraped in. You know Mot time's (for me) are worse than waiting at the maternity ward!!

Just a few jobs I want to tinker about with namely Aide's idea on an electric auxiliary pump & I'll be out to Berkley for a run next week end!

Then up to either neil garner's or forza for a 12k service smile

Good to hear you got through the mot and are on the mend.

I had a few silly advisories on my last mot as well - one light a bit high etc..

Hope you get the live feed to the battery brian sorted.

I think it was a1rak who has fitted the extra water pump you mentioned above.

He is the chap with the supercharged 4.5 ( who's car I seen at Ace last May, the night third gear went pop on me on the way home..)

Hi aide ofcourse you are right it was a1rak's thread I saw re: the E/Pump...agerolleyes

So far its been a bit too cold to fit the B/brain back on, I disconnected it for the Mot(just incase), I am still not sure how to find the hole in the bulkhead to thread the "On-engine" wire through? I was even thinking maybe the live to the wiper motor ?
Anyway thanks for the advice I will get at it hopefully week end.
