I put a 225 40 18 on the front but its no good and will have to come off. Despite only a few miles on them.
I am going to replace with either 225 35 18 (probably Toyo T1s) OR with 235 35 18
Camskill have these but they are pricey.... Are they ok I wonder...

Has anyone actually put the rear wheel/tyre on the front? I have read there are clearance problems, however my wheels are both 7.5 inch so in theory they should fit

I'm guessing that you just don't like the look of them i.e. the sidewalls look too thick? 235/35/18 will be fine.

Pretty sure mine are 235/35/18 - could be 225/35. Definitely 35/18 though.

Either way, no problems at all with them rubbing - is that what you are asking?

I don't think I've ever heard of a 235 on the front of a cerb. Just wondering if it unbalances things, rubs etc.... I know a 225 is fine.

My 225 40 are gonna go. Rubbing and unsettled geo. so 35s it is - 235 might reduce the stretch.
