Guys,
Is there such a thing as 17" Spiders, I don't want to go bigger than the 4.5 RL7 wheels, I might even go smaller, I know 16" Spiders exsist.

Not the standard TVR ones. No doubt you can get something similar, though. If you're up for a few more spokes (which I think'd look great - just like the DB7 Vantage has), there're options like:
Oz Superturismo
Oz Superleggera
TSW Pace
Toora T230
Toora T910
Fox 3 Evo
Kosei Sniper

I'm sure there are plenty of others, but those were the considerations I remember from when buying new wheels for the Cerb. (Hope I've got the names right...)

Didn't realise 16s were available - does anyone have any pictures and how to they ride?

Presume the higher profile makes them slightly less easy to damage on kerbs?

16s were standard on the Tuscans to begin with (not sure if they still are). They were designed to be much better for ride quality, etc. And would definitely be better for avoiding kerbing. Shame they didn't look as good, so everyone shelled out for the 18s...

Ah, not seen any Tuscans with 16" spiders, but have seen a few with basic wheels (not sure if they are 16s or 17s) so I guess they replaced the 16" spiders.

Think there were a couple of pre-spider wheels, too. If my memory serves me, they didn't look great (but they weren't truly awful, either).

When new I had 16" spiders on the Tuscan, but changed them for 18". The 16" ones went on a Cerbra see www.pistonheads.com/members/showCar.asp?carId=5162.

Are the RL7s the standard 17s or 16s?

Mine are standard 17" RL7's. I actually like the look of the standard 4.2/Speed Six 16" wheels. I suppose I'll just have to clean them rather than buy some new ones.
