Have just seen the Cerbera in the classifieds that is up for £8k needing the outriggers replacing. Why can't this come up in a years time when I might actually be in a position to afford it! frown

I am happy doing the strip down and repair myself and the spec / colour is exactly what I want.

So come on guys, I need to get back in the TVR fold so I need some ingenious ways to come up with £8k hehe

Balls, just looked at my bank account and I can get a loan to pay off my current loan (which only has a year left admittedly) and have enough for the car and is only £50 a month different to what I am paying off at the moment.

I will stop looking now before I do something I regret laugh

As bad as it sounds, I want it as well! I really should stop looking at the classifieds!

Chianti Starmist with RL7s, looks spot on. I'd seen this ad and was a little smitten too.

Easy, get a bank loan for £60k, buy a Sag, sell it next January, pay off the loan and use the £8k profit to buy the Cerb. wink

sounds like a sorted car with a tired chassis, would make it an £11k car so still good value.

Being sold by a known PHer as well.

If it's still for sale in January, I may take a punt on it. Looks nice, and having seen the "professionally" repaired outriggers in another thread recently, I'm not convinced that having already had them done is a selling point.

Well the car sold today, I can honestly say I never knew the true meaning of regret until I saw and heard it disappear down the road.

Condolences Rob, it hurts doesn't it. Even a Tuscan shaped replacement couldn't heal my broken heart, and still hasn't three months down the line. You'll be back one day. thumbup

Two Robs, same regrettable mistake. All tur8o needs to do now is buy a Tuscan, not really bond with it, want your Crebera back and you could be twins.

Sorry you had to sell

On the other hand thank God its sold, I've considered selling everything I own to get back into a Cerb & this looked like a bit of a bargain, temptation.....nono
