Hi

I too use an Accumate and have been using the same one for almost 8 years without a problem.

Highly recommended here.

I use a Ctek charger which has done me nicely for a year or so now. They have quite a good range.

Another vote for Accumate from me - mine has being going strong since 2004. My Cerbera in quite happily sleeping as we speak under its dust sheet with the Accumate looking after her (and showing green, fully charged)

I am in the market for a charger too, which one did you go for. My finger keeps hovering over the 3.8 model.

Looking at the info here, the CTEK units look more sophisticated as normal chargers, but the Accumate types have a very low trickle charge facility (I believe about 0.1 amps), so can be left connected. I used to have one which belonged with a Carcoon.

I can't see that feature on the CTEK's ? (Have I missed something?)

CTEKS, well the one I have, has a standard trickle charge, and a winter trickle charge smile

Another vote for CTEK here. Been fitting them to f-cars for years without issue, and the one on the cerb's been perfect for the last two years..
