Looking to replace my suspension front and rear while the engine is being rebuilt, looking at either Protech or Gaz gold pro.

Anyone have pro's and con's for either? Sure this has been covered in the past but the search function is down.

Open to other suggestions as well, would love nitrons but can't validate the extra money seeing as I just use her on the road, hopefully do a few track days next year, although have been saying that for 5 years now!

I have gaz gold pro,s on my car for about a year and half now and as good as I want them to be. Well worth a recommendation from me.

not tried either of those, i went from old worn out standard shocks and springs to new bushes, nitrons and eibach springs with a full geo setup and the difference was amazing the car felt great. i would say if u can stretch that little bit more, get the nitrons, tvrpower do a fairly good deal on them.

The Nitrons are nearly double the price unfortunatly, and what with the engine rebuild, 6K service and Christmas the bank ballance won't strech that far!

My protects cost me around £ 600, I bought them just to put me on till I could afford a top end shock.

I've been very pleased with them for the money so far. They have been on the Cerb 2 years now with no faults to report.
