Picked up the cerb from HHC after loads and loads of work including red rose engine, new clutch, new oil cooler, radiator, sports pipes, silicone hoses, magnecor leads etc etc. Mega expensive but lifes too short not to have this car.

Just managed to run it in and now I'm back off to Malaysia for another 3.5 months.

Had a couple of teething troubles including a failed throttle sensor that meant a trip back home on the back of an AA truck.

Really, really pleased with all the work and the car is awesome to drive now. Just running in (1300 miles) and is now back to HHC for an oil change and tappet check.

HHC have been excellent, very impressed with their capabilities. They have had the car for months now and will still be working on it as I am having a headlamp conversion and an audio upgrade done over the next few months.

Should be back just in time for some snow!

Engine installation photos courtesy of HHC.

Off to the pub now to celebrate.

But James, your cost includes 76p a mile for insurance I couldn't see that on Andy's costs.

Neil.

Ps. I now feel a lot better about my 82p a mile running costs.

Please don't remind me of the running costs...

The sports tail pipes were about 300 quid.
