I'm trying to change the pulleys over but can't find a socket to fit. A 24mm doesn't fit into the pulley and a 23mm doesn't sit over the bolt so I am guessing its either an imperial size or a thin walled 24mm.
Anyone any ideas?

Annoyingly most of my sockets of around that size and all my imperial ones seem to have gone walk about somewhere.

Thanks.

Found a couple of sockets a 15/16ths fits slightly better than a 24mm
But I can't shift the nut.

It's not a reverse thread by any chance is it?

Can't remember the size of socket, but had to use a windy gun to loosen it as I couldn't hold it firm enough to use a spanner.

I do have one of those guns that spin up to a speed then releases that to the socket in a sudden burst but didn't want to try it incase it was a reverse thread but it sounds like its a normal thread so will give it a go tomorrow.
