Took the car out for a run today and had the air con on, my mate was following me and noticed water coming from, what appeared to be, the rear of the o/s wing, behind the wheel. When I stopped there was a small puddle under the o/s front wing behind the front wheel, by the sill.

Anyone no what this might be? Never noticed it before.

cheers

Hmmm, could just be the condensation from the A/C.

All A/C cars drip, don't remember where mine came from and it shouldn't be an awful lot but if you had been parked with A/C on for a while, it could have built up??

Isn't that where the expansion tank sits? IIRC, the pipework is a nightmare around there so the hose may have perished/come loose and is leaking?

I get it. I think its to do with the air con. Its not coolant, as the taste is just water. yummy.

Yeah, I've had similar leaks caused by the air con. Seen puddles under the car and thought what the heck is that?!

The other day I was in heavy traffic in hot weather with the air con on and it started dripping on to my foot through the driver's footwell vent! Very refreshing actually.

No, the expansion tank is on the nearside (passenger side).

I always get the terminology confused.....it took me ages to get the hang of forward slash and backward slash so there's probably little hope!
