Christ! I paid 6ish for mine with destroyed paint work. But excellent mechanics from a very honest seller.
Scuttle panel is easy enough to respray but if there's damage all over with interior damage.... ouch!
Just think top condition minus damage- anything else you find plus the inevitable ( it's a 10+ year old car... s
t will happen. My ML55 has more issues than
My Cerb! Admitedly not the greatest in the Merc stable of build quality ).
That said, all TVR's should be saved we're possible.

Hmmm....
The paintwork doesn't really bother me that much to be honest, as I would convert the headlights and then vinyl wrap the car in matt black, but the interior woud be a bit of an issue. How bad was it? Was the leather torn or just overly used? Would you be able to clean it up or does it need re trimming?
The mechanical state of the car seems to be good so I may go and look at it.
Did you drive it?
Sorry for all the questions...

Why pay good Cerb money for one with fooked paint?! Regardless of plans..The paintwork doesn't really bother me that much to be honest, as I would convert the headlights and then vinyl wrap the car in matt black, but the interior woud be a bit of an issue. Interior was full of scuffs, the carpets at the drivers feet at come right up. There was a tonne of water on the inside of the rear window. The owner knows nothing about TVR's either which is a negative in my eyes.
The chap was quiet on how he got it - I think you could get it for half price but would require a lot of money to bring it up to the standard of some of the others listed for sale.
I went for a drive in it but only as a passenger simply because I didn't trust it lol

Yep he's right, this does happen and is an easy fix.
I know, however if I was selling that car at that price I would have it fixed. I know that some would say it is a negotiating point. But I would not be interested in buying a car that had to be taken staight from the forecourt to the body shop for repairs. Regardless of how much he reduced the price to have it fixed. That's just me.Obiwonkeyblokey said:
any more info on your Dash Mike?
Not much to tell unfortunately as a previous owner installed it - I briefly read the manual when I first got it and it seems you can customise the look via a laptop with a usb cable. Really gives that racing feel when you are "ah em" obeying 30mph limits

Mikey - advertising it at £11k - man... that's gonna damage prices! It looks in pretty damn good condition as well.
Surely you could've advertised at £15k and taken offers.....man oh man.....thank God I'm not planning on selling mine...
