Mines got the pink 5 year stuff in
But do not mix it with blue or green as it with all go thick like custard
So just make sure you flush the system
Mine runs a bit cooler now and in traffic

I use halfords pink oats stuff but I have a alloy rad. Oats is not so good with copper. But its better corrosion inhibitor for alloys.

Summer I run a mix of 20-30% Coolant, Water and Water Wetter. Winter, what ever is on a deal but ensure it gets flushed.

The car flushes itself for me last night and a new Ally rad on its way. Seal on old one went. Well when I say old - it was only 5-6years old and had split twice.

That's twice people have mentioned the "seal" going on the radiator.

Do you mean the seam split? It's not unusual the specialist who fixed mine said the range rover core on which the rad is based is too long for its height so flexes and usually splits at the corners.
It's a problem with the unit he brazed the offside end of mine up and it's been fine since touch wood!

I am now running Evans waterless coolant www.evanscoolants.co.uk, all be it in a 3000M, but if your looking to replace the coolant all together, this completely removes all the negatives associated with water and gives a better cooling effect, all the info is on their website, it comes at a cost however!
